Cole turns ONE!

My Baby Boy did it, he turned ONE! I still can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Cole had a football themed party and a lot of his friends were able to come to help him celebrate!

Everyone wore their favorite football team attire, and we had football food... hotdogs, nachos, and soft pretzels. Finished with football shaped cupcakes and a football cake for Cole.

On his Birthday (his party was 2 days before) he took his first three steps!!! The very next day he took 6! Soon he will be unstoppable!

He is such a joy and a Mama's BOY!!! Happy Birthday Cole!

Alyssa Bday part 2

We celebrated Alyssa's Birthday as a family on her actual Birthday in NJ. We arrived at NJ a little after lunch time on her birthday. That afternoon we let her open her presents. The favored present was her present from Mom Mom and Pop Pop... it was her own Princess Bike! She loved it. We took her outside to ride it and she had a bit of trouble getting the concept, but by the end she was starting to.

After dinner we had cake that Pop Pop had made. She had some trouble with one candle... a trick one!!! : )

It was a great day and she is very proud to now be 3!!!

Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve we went to NRC's Christmas Eve service and then we went to Chili's for dinner. When we got home the kids were all able to open one gift which was their new pj's.

Christmas morning was really cute. Hayley woke about 6 am to go potty and I watched from our bedroom to make sure she didn't go into the living room. As she was walking out of the bathroom she was bending trying to look to see something. I had most of Cole's toys unwrapped and she could see those. She goes into the bedroom and tells Alyssa "I think their are a lot of presents under the tree". Alyssa then of course wants to run out so I sent them back to bed and we ended up waking them up at about 8:30.

It was so fun watching them open presents and get excited. The one of the girls are the robes that I made them for Christmas. After lunch we celebrated Jesus' Birthday by singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and blowing out candles.

The very next day we headed to PA to visit with Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of the Gerwing clan. We stayed there a couple days and then we headed on to NJ.

It was a wonderful time of celebrating with those we love!!
