FOUR Months

Cole is F O U R Months Old! Where is the time going? I seriously feel like I just had him, yet he is four months already. He is growing like a weed and just seems huge to me. I just want to freeze time.

He is doing really well. He is swaddle free and is sleeping well still. I have to go in sometimes to give him a paci, but other than that, he is still a great sleeper. Yay!

Rolling Over... well, APPARENTLY he rolled over on Saturday (the 8th) while I was not home, however, he has yet to do it for me. He is really close when he is on his back, he gets to his side but I have not seen him make it all the way over yet. When I check on him before I go to bed he is sometimes sleeping on his side.

He goes to the Dr on Friday for his 4 month check up and if I get the ok, which I don't know why I wouldn't I will be starting him on cereal. Can't believe it!

Well, I think that is all that is new with him. I have posted a few new videos on our youtube page so be sure to check them out! http://www.youtube.com/user/njgirlatheart

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mothers Day. It started with Saturday... we always give each other a day to themselves the day before Mothers/Fathers Day. I got to spend the morning with a great friend at a Scrapbook Mega Meet and while there I won a door prize of some awesome scrapping supplies! I NEVER win anything! Then we went to lunch and she introduced me to a great little place right down the street from me - yum!

On Mother's Day we went to church and then went to lunch at Noodles and Co. I had never been there and had been wanting to try it. Afterwards we came home and Jeff took the girls outside to play while Cole napped and I got to enjoy a nice quiet house... I NEVER get that!

We put the kids to bed and then Jeff grilled steaks and shrimp for us for dinner. Delish! Perfect ending to the perfect day! So thankful to be a Mommy!

Potty Training

Well, a couple weekends ago we started "Potty Training Bootcamp" as we like to call it. Jeff took Friday off and we sent Hayley to a friends house for the day. We had been telling Alyssa she was going to be saying, "Bye Bye Diapers" and she was excited about it. That morning we put panties on her and just started pumping her with Kool Aide. The very first time, she had a big accident and started saying, "I don't want the pee to come out". She had an accident the next morning too, and had a couple the first few nights... but other than that she has done great! She is staying dry at her nap time and she is staying dry through the night, which is amazing. I had bought Pull-Ups thinking I would need them, but the girl has proved me wrong. She still has some hesitation with #2, but she is doing it in the potty. She just makes like 10 trips to the potty and then holds it, then she finally goes. She is afraid to let it go still, but with every time, it is becoming less of a big deal. Yay! Way to go Alyssa!!!
